3 WHAT IS LEAN? “ A practical way of using the experiences of front line staff and Customers – to continually improve services”  Identifying & eliminating WASTE  Continuous Improvement  Adding value at each stage of the process  Providing what the Customer wants!

4 Essential to the Success of Lean -  It must be part of the organisation’s “Philosophy & Culture” - that WE create!  LEAN should be part of our everyday work, not something we visit now and then
