Osteoporosis- Condition Osteoporosis is a disease where the bones become so weak that they break easily during incidents such as a minor fall, because of the deterioration of bone tissue.*

Osteoporosis- Impact Painlessly, osteoporosis deteriorates bones to the point where it easily fractures. These will result in back pain, loss of height, and stooped posture.*

Osteoporosis- Cellular Level After age 30, resorption (bone loss) will exceed formation (new bone growth). If optimal or sufficient bone mass was not reached at age 30, osteoporosis will likely result.*

Osteoporosis - Treatment A major osteoporosis treatment plan will include exercise and proper nutrition, to strengthen health, and medicine like: alendronate, raloxifene, risedronate, and ibandronate.**
