3. Athens Account To access any of UEL electronic resources, you will need a username and password (Athens Account) Your Athens account has been set up for you and the information email to you. Username uel12u followed by your student number e.g. uel12u3321254 Password your date of birth eg. 06-Mar-66

4. Ebooks Ebooks are available through the library search You can access them with your Athens Account You can download them or read them online

5. Library Website http://www.uel.ac.uk/lls/ Type in key word. Click on Search

6. To narrow down to e-books only Click on E- Books Collections

7. Click on Online Resource and enter Athens Account

8. Down load for 7 days. After 7 days, simply download again. Or Read Online without downloading

9. Ejournals Ejournals are available through the library search Enter your Athens Account for full access Print, save or email the articles

10. Type the journal title Into the Library Search

11. Click on online resource. Then click Go next to database link.

12. Click here to do keyword search within publication. Click here to access individual issues.

13. Access full text, then save, print or email article. You will be prompted to enter your Athens Account.

14. Referencing If you consult a source such as a journal and use it in your assignment, you must acknowledge this by referencing For information on using the Harvard style of referencing, see the library homepage and the Info Skills Tutorial. “Cite Them Right” is an excellent guide to referencing and the ebook is available from UEL PLUS, under Campus Bookmarks.
