Triple Problems Adding 3 addends PrimaryMath CCS: 1.OA.2 Solve word problems that call for addition of three whole numbers whose sum is less than or equal to 20, e.g., by using objects, drawings, and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem. Numbers can be grouped in different ways to solve problems with three addends. Remind the students how to group to 10 when adding numbers. An additional page of blank cards and a blank answer sheet has been inserted to allow teachers to create additional cards. The first time she played she got 2 points. The second time she got 9 points and the third time she got 8 points. How many points did she get in all? Bobbie got a box of chocolates for his birthday. It had 11 raspberry filled, 5 cream filled and 4 cherry filled candies. How many candies were in the box? Juan and his family went on a trip to Washington D.C. The first day they traveled 6 hours, the second day 3 hours and the third day 4 hours. How many hours did it take to get to Washington? Mrs. Perez held a cupcake sale at her school.
