Water Cycle World By: Avery Grimes

Content Area: Science Grade: 4 th Summary: The purpose of this PowerPoint is to help the students with a lesson in understanding the levels of the Water Cycle. Objective: Using information that is given on the slides, the students will read each part carefully from the slides and answer questions from what they have learned with 100% accuracy. Standard: SPI 0407.8.1 Identify the basic features of the water cycle and describe their importance to life on earth.

Information About Topic The water cycle consists of the method of the circulation the typical water movement. The main parts in the water cycle consists of; evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and accumulation. The water cycle always changes in many of its states which moves with every chance and the cycle forms with all clouds. The specific views upon the Earth is valuable among the water levels that is a part of each of their change in temperature.

The Parts of the Water Cycle Evaporation: The heat that comes from the sun’s rays that impacts the ocean or river and will turn it into a type of vapor (gas). Condensation: The water steam that forms within the air which gets cold and changes back into that liquid that also forms a cloud structure. Precipitation: The prior holding of water that is carried inside the air which cannot be held at that time. Accumulation: The water that is formed from the precipitation, it goes back into that water where it first started.

Question 1 What is the part of the water cycle that uses the water vapor from the cold that changes back into the liquid? Accumulation Condensation Evaporation

Correct!!! You got it right!!!

Question 2 What does the ocean form after receiving energy from the Sun’s rays during the evaporation stage? More Water Ice Gases

Correct!!! You got it right!!!

Question 3 What type of cloud(s) work best to start the water cycle? Cirrus Stratus Cumulus All of the above

Correct!!! You got it right!!!

Water Cycle Summary Part 1 The water cycle has made a global impact that is a source to how much water has circulated the Earth on a daily basis. The different reasons of the water comes from the weather structures that involves rain, sleet, and snow. The water comes from the atmosphere and falls into the ground into the oceans, lakes, and rivers.

Water Cycle Summary Part 2 The water cycle is the main entrance in forming clouds that comes from the natural air which is from the primary cause of condensation. The different clouds from the water cycle are cirrus, stratus, and cumulus. The water cycle is also the primary link to all stages of temperature.
