29. What is CERT? Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) programs: educate people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area. train basic disaster response skills such as – fire safety – light search + rescue – team organization – disaster medical operations 29

30. What do we do? Assist others in their neighborhood or workplace following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help. 30
