WHAT IS INTERNET MARKETING? Achieving marketing objectives through applying digital technologies. The application of internet and related digital technologies in conjunction with the traditional communications to achieve marketing objectives. E-Marketing: - Achieving the marketing objectives through use of electronic communication technologies.

Smith and Chaffey (2005) say that e-marketing can be used to support the aims as followed: a.Identifying: for marketing research to find out customer’s needs and demands. b.Anticipating: The internet provides an additional channels by which customers can access information and make purchases. c.Satisfying: achieving customer’s satisfaction through electronic channel

Digital marketing: -Has a similar meaning to electronic marketing. -Both describe the management and execution of marketing using electronic media such as the web, e-mails, interactive TV and wireless media in conjunction with digital data about customer’s characteristics and behavior.
