Absolute Value Equations  Absolute value equations are related to compound inequalities because in order to solve them you must first set up two different equations  Think about what the absolute value of 7 is  Now think about what the absolute value of -7 is  See how they are the same  This property is what requires us to make two equations for each absolute value equation
