4. Q – how can leadership academies support the development of young people? A – it depends on what the leadership academy is Does it involve all young people involved in L&V? Is it only for the most talented leaders? Is it selective by age? What does it aim to do? - celebrate, reward, train or deploy leaders?

7. What did we wish our leadership academy to be? All encompassing – all schools and all pupils involved in training and volunteering Not exclusive but recognise and reward those with talent and commitment Provide opportunities for talented leaders to make progress Identification, training, deployment and ongoing support Grow our workforce through trained, experienced, committed students
