3 Jerónimos monastery It is in Belem, Lisbon, near Tagus river. It is the highest point of Manueline architecture and the most remarkable set of the sixteenth century monastery in Portugal and one of the greatest churches-hall in Europe.

4 Tower of Belem It is situated on the right bank of the River Tagus, where there once existed a beach.

5 University of Coimbra Situated in the highest region of Coimbra, it began to be built in the thirteenth century. There we can visit the Library of the University and the Museum of Sacred Art. 9 Templo Romano de Évora Roman Temple It is situated in Évora, most commonly called Diana’s temple. It was built in the beginning of the century I. Studies showed it was a sanctuary devoted to the emperor.

10 Fortificações de Monsaraz (defensive Walls) It is situated in Évora. It is considered one of the former cities in Portugal.

11 Bom Jesus de Braga It’s a religious sanctuary situated in Braga, in the North of Portugal. There one can find a big church, a staircase, a forest some hotels and a hydraulic lift.

12 Torre e Igreja dos Clérigos (Church and Tower) It is considered one of the most important monuments in OPorto. It was built between 1731 and 1763.

13 Mosteiro da Batalha Batalha’s Monastery It is situated in Batalha, in the centre of Portugal. It is considered World Heritage by UNESCO and one of the seven wonders of Portugal.

14 Ruínas de Conímbriga (Roman Ruins) This is a vast archaeological place, which at the time of the Roman Invasion of the Iberian Peninsula was situated in the main city of Conventus Scallabitanus, Roman province of Lusitania.

15 Mosteiro de Alcobaça Monastery It was the first ghotic monument built in Portugal( 1178). It is considered World Heritage by UNESCO.

16 Palácio de Queluz Queluz Palace It is situated in Sintra. It was built in 1755. In addition to the architectural and heritage value, there are beautiful gardens and large woods around it.
