How do people develop a business? Choose a company or product that interests you. Research the company to determine their type of organization, their history, the benefits of their organization, and the sources you used to find this information. Try to find stock prices and the trend of the product as well. Record your answers on the chart. Tell the class about the product!

Did you know that…Did you know that… Companies that make popular products aren’t always obvious? For example, Mars is known for its candy bars, but it also makes Uncle Ben’s Rice! Select a product you like and use frequently and research the company that makes it. You will use the information to write a company profile. Find out if they are public or private, their history, what products they sell, and which exchange they are traded on.
