What is a works cited page? A works cited page is a separate page in your research paper that indicates the sources you referred to in your paper. Whereas your bibliography cards show all of the works you might have used for your research paper, the works cited list contains only those sources that you used for direct quotes, paraphrases, or summaries in the paper.

Format of Works Cited page Here is a sample entry for your works cited list: Jones, Howard. Abortion and the Constitution. New York: Greenhaven Press, 1999. Print. Notice that: the entry does NOT begin with a number. the second line of the entry is indented five spaces. the entry is double spaced.
