Job duties: Responsible for matching land and/or property to interested buyers Communicates with buyers Gives home tours to potential buyers Qualifications: Minimum = high school diploma, now often need college degree Real estate course and pass real estate licensure test

7 Appraiser Job duties: Qualifications:
Determines and reports on the value of individual properties Qualifications: College degree in business administration, math, or accounting Appraisal training

8 Interior Designer Job duties: Qualifications:
Plans and finishes interiors Prepares and presents design ideas Qualifications: Creativity! ID training – 4 yr. college degree Work experience

Designs functional and appealing furniture (for manufactures, design firms, & shops) Qualifications: Artistic ability! College degree in art and design

Installs windows, doors, and cabinets Qualifications: High school degree Apprenticeships, internships, work experience

11 Architect Job duties: Qualifications:
Design details of floorplans for homes and buildings Communicate and work with contractors, electricians, etc. Qualifications: At least 5 year college – degree in architecture
