Treatment of 5µM cisplatin killed more than 50% of cells at 48 h. The majority of cells died by the fifth day. Over the next 20 days few enlarged cells were seen with flattened, senescent-like morphology. Then the supernatant were replaced with fresh medium containing drugs at 48hr.
