1 FREE TIME IN SPAIN CAROLINA SOBRINO, JULIAN ALCOLEA, ROCIO MORENO AND JOSE RUIZ

2  The people of Spain use their free time in the same way as most developed countries.  You’re going to see what Spanish teenagers like the most: What do people like to do in Spain in their free time?

3 Most of Spanish teenagers listen to music to feel relaxed.Some teenagers when they feel bad, listen to music to forget their problems and feel better.

4 - Spanish people go out at weekends with friends to have dinner, to have a party and to have fun. -We often visit our family too (grandparents…) FACT!: When we meet male and female kiss each other on both cheeks, male only shake hands as a greeting.

6 Most of spanish teenagers play videogames and computer games. Now in their free time, they prefer play videogames instead of reading a book or going out with their friends. Also spanish teenagers have a lot of social networks like, facebook, tuenti, twitter … They spend a lot of time there.

7 Spanish people often read newspapers, magazines or books. Teenagers are said to read some books for the high school. We often like to read books of science fiction, love books, or any tipe of book.

8 Most of people in Spain go to the cinema to see the newest films on winter because it´s cold. In Manzanares we haven´t got cinema but we have “Casa de la Cultura” a kind of theatre where we can watch films or we go to Valdepeñas, the nearest cinema. GOING TO THE CINEMA

9 In Spain, sport is one of the most relevant thing. Many people meet to watch the matches and have fun with their friends and family. Football, basketball and handball are the most important sports. Many people to be fit, go out to run with their relatives or go to the swimming pool. Here, we’ve got teams and we compete with other towns. DO SPORTS

10 Specially in summer, it’s common to sleep after having lunch, we feel tired, we go to the sofa and we sleep for 1h more or less. That’s what we call to take a “siesta”.

11 Lots of people in Spain play an instrument like the piano, the flute, the violin, the guitar, the drums… And they go to attend classes or they play in a band. There are some choirs too.

12 Some people attend cooking lessons, beadwork, or they paint. Now, there are people who do crafts with recycled things.

13 In our houses, our parents use to fix the things that are broken. They fix plugs, bulbs… At weekends they clean and wash the car.

14 Most of people here in Spain have a cottage and they plant their vegetables such as potatoes, tomatoes and others. Then they collect all the vegetables and do delicious dishes or they sell them to shops.

15 Travel is an amazing activity that a lot of people do. Spanish people on their holidays, travel to beautiful places with their relatives to feel relaxed and rest. TRAVELLING

16 In Spain, in our free time we learn another lenguages too. For example, we study German and English in the Official Language School. STUDY ANOTHER LANGUAGE
