CFC Summer Survey (2013) Respondent Profile – 22% response rate Summer survey – 17% response rate Fall survey – 67% first year with the club – 65% just getting back into riding – 25% 1-3 years of riding experience – 60% experience level as nonexistent to minimal

Monday Night Skills Night Liked the Best Strategies for proper gearing techniques in hills, conserving energy, better bike handling and group riding, met a lot of great ladies and enjoyed learning new skills, was motivated by others Liked Least The mix of too many levels of cycling ability in one group Location too far away from Ottawa Action Taken Thursday evening advanced training sessions were introduced Return to Ride program was offered during the day Action to Follow in 2014 Monday night training sessions will focus on beginner skills lead by Sylvie Thursday night training sessions will focus on experienced rider skills Considering alternate Ottawa/Gatineau locations

Group Rides Liked the Best Departure Points: 53% Tunney’s Pasture, 16% Gatineau Park, 11% City Hall 11% Orleans 5% Kanata 5% Nepean – Sports Plex Liked Least Started to early, Saturdays not good, cycling routes, different locations too confusing, FB posts, the weather Action Taken Added more Group ride details to the weekly club announcement email. Action to Follow in 2014 Group Rides schedule to be created at the start of the year and posted on website Consistent departure points for Group Rides Sylvie will provide more info. on remote rides and week day rides

Jersey Purchase Members will have the option to purchase their jersey, bike shorts, arm warmers, vests, jackets and skin suits to add to their current CFC club collection when registering. Clothing will be ordered after club registration deadline
