5 Core Adventures 5 AdventureDescription Call of the Wild Outdoor essentials, animal identification, square and overhand knots, learning to be safe in the outdoors Council Fire Create an art project from recyclable materials; learn about the community contributions of a veteran; arrange for a community or neighborhood service activity Howling at the Moon Work together as a team; cope with stress, fear and anxiety, participate in a campfire Paws on the Path Hiking, Cub scout 6 outdoor essentials, buddy system, BSA Outdoor Ethics Award, Outdoor Awareness. Running With the Pack Playing games with the den and family, Creating and teaching a new game Footsteps of Faith Family based adventure vs. den based.

6 Elective Adventures 6 AdventureDescription Air of the Wolf Code of the Wolf Make a rain gauge or other device for measurement, tangrams, graph fun, secret codes Collections and Hobbies Begin a collection, respect others, visit a museum, craft activity Cubs Who Care Hands on experience with what a physical disability feels like; contact with someone who has a physical disability, attend an event where people with physical disabilities are participating Digging Into the Past Make your own dinosaur, fossil, edible fossil layers, and have a fossil dig Finding Your Way Map reading, navigating with a compass, working with others—buddy system Continued….

7 Elective Adventures (continued) 7 AdventureDescription Grow Something Plant seeds and grow a plant; visit a botanical or community garden, make a terrarium Adventures in Coins Learn how coins are made, and the stories they tell; math skills, addition, subtraction and estimation Spirit of the Water Water conservation, aquatics safety, skill development, physical fitness, obedient and brave Hometown Heroes Visit a fire or police station, interview a personal hero, project to thank local service man or woman for their service; participate in an event for hometown heroes Motor Away! Make a plane, boat and car, fun activities to find out how they move Paws of Skill Physical fitness activities, team sports, practice good sportsmanship Germs Alive! Fun activities and games, as well as hands on experiments about how germs grow and spread
