Main topics in the agenda The meeting will concentrate on: Mechanisms and tools to build capacities of the institutions undertaking TB care provision. Ways for effective use of ISTC. Donor and community perspectives on PPM including new initiatives such as (PPM for TB/HIV and PPM MDR TB).

Specific objectives To review the global and regional progress on PPM. To examine ongoing work and experiences related to involving hospitals, national professional associations and corporate sector establishments in TB control. To discuss recent revisions and effective ways to use the International Standards for TB Care and the Patient Charter for TB Care for PPM scale up. To introduce new areas of work such as PPM for TB/HIV and PPM MDR-TB. To discuss coordination among partners to support regions and countries to scale up PPM

Agenda 7 sessions covering PPM progress (global and regional) Perspective and new initiative such as: patient representatives, civil society, informal providers, TB/HIV, MDR/XDR, TBCAP project on TB advocacy tools including PPM. New tools and guidance (HDL, CS, PA, measuring PPM contribution) Group work

Expected outcome A review of the global and regional progress on PPM for TB control. Identification of mechanisms and tools to engage institutions in TB control. Recommendations for the Subgroup's future work on PPM including PPM TB/HIV and PPM MDR-TB
