5 Benefits of Partnership Analysts Crime is the tip of the iceberg Non biased / blinkered approach Public perception of issues faced by the community Identifying clear, joint, and measurable solutions

6 Challenges Access to data and information Analysis of different data presentations Dominant partner agencies Working within a non co-located building A lack of understanding of analysis from managers Unrealistic timescales Temporary contracts

8 Current Partnership Analysts There are currently 32 Local Authorities in Scotland –8 Fire Service –8 Health Boards –8 Police Service –At least 1 analyst associated within each authority

9 Partnership Working Glasgow Example –Area was identified through analysis –Evidence gathered, Public Reassurance Model –Community partners identified & contacted to discuss related issues –Key action plan drawn up

10 Partnership Working Glasgow Example –Action plan drawn up –Partners held accountable via tactical planning –Area was cleaned up –Public Reassured –Continued Partnership working
