Pricing Time commitment Equipment required –Oxygen Kit and Oxygen –AED Trainer Unit –First aid supplies –MTV-100 and Bag Valve Mask (Optional) –Student Handbook
16
Course Organization Options Present as a one day program Break it up into pieces Offer with BLSPRO as a professional-level dive first aid weekend Upgrade other DAN Providers
17
One Day Program Present the complete program according to the outline Conduct all knowledge development, skills development and assessments Conduct scenario practice at the end of the program Issue program certifications Downside: 8-hour time commitment
18
Break it up Offer each segment over successive nights Provides greater scheduling options Keep segments close together Downside: lose benefit of having students work together
19
Professional skills weekend Offer along with BLSPRO Add in REMO 2 as well Presents high-end skills appropriate for dive professionals High perceived value of skills and knowledge Downside: large time commitment and program cost
20
Upgrade other providers Not necessary for current DAN Providers in other programs to repeat that segment Purchase DEMP book and standalone certificate for Providers in one program For Providers in two or more programs, might be easier to purchase last stand- alone books and the certification card
21
Promoting it Promote the program to dive leaders – divemasters, AIs and DiveCons –Market the professional-level approach –Will be patches of all icons available soon, including DEMP Make it part of Rescue-type classes Offer with other CPR/FA programs
22
Promoting it Create off-season “Prepared Buddy” series “Safe Traveler” – offer as a special for divers taking dive trip –Integrate in a Fish ID to go along with the HMLI segment –Both of these get divers into your store
23
