Thermal power plants (6 in Lithuania);
Industrial enterprises.
Pollution consequences:
Smog;
Acid rain;
Soil degradation processes.

Great levels of waste production and relatively small portion of processed;
Many people are not aware and are not used to sorting, despite of the sufficient number of containers;
For some people there is no ecological culture and often we can see this picture

Administrative penalties for individuals and legal persons have been established;
Environmental education has been introduced in educational institutions;
Environmental campaigns and events are being organized.

Every year a cleanup action “Let’s do it” is organized to collect and sort all kind types of waste
