Saudi Arabia and UK power resources This power point will explain about different power sources that Saudi Arabia and the UK could use.
2
1) Saudi Arabia: Oil Good Saudi Arabia has the biggest oil reserves in the world. To make a lot more money they could sell small portions of the oil to different countries and use that money to invest in to other sources of power for example hydro - electric or geothermal power. Or maybe even fracking.

1) Saudi Arabia: Oil Bad In the end they are going to run out of oil and will need to turn to another solution of power. oil is very expensive to process into fuel so they will have to spend a lot of money on that and they will need something to power the machines to process the oil. All in all by using most power sources they are just polluting the earth and causing global warming.

1) UK: Oil Good We can make lots of products with oil and make money to go into other power sources. Then these other power sources can be used to power, power stations like stations for fracking and nuclear power stations. The money can also be used in to researching new ways of creating power.

1) UK: Oil Bad Oil costs a large volume of money to buy from other countries and when we run out of other power and oil we cant make other products like a car tyres and other rubber products. The money being used to buy oil could be used for other useful research in to new ways of creating power.

2) Saudi Arabia: Nuclear Good A Nuclear power plant would be good for Saudi Arabia because they would really benefit off of the Nuclear power as the power would last a lot longer than their oil reserves. The power plant would also increase the amount of jobs by hundreds of people.
7
2) Saudi Arabia: Nuclear Bad With Nuclear power plants there is always the possibility that the power plant could explode killing hundreds on innocent people and leaving a giant area out of bounds due to the heavy amounts of radiation poisoning in in the air this could also harm the environment and kill a VERY large amount of wild like

2) UK: Nuclear Good As the UK is already using Nuclear power then more Nuclear power would be a great subject to invest money in Decreasing the large amount of unemployment and creating a vast amount more power for the UK meaning that we could power a lot more other stations.

3) Saudi Arabia: Solar Good There is a lot of sunshine in Saudi Arabia so the solar panels would be a great idea as the power can store at night and still be collecting power in the day, I think that this would be a great idea because solar plants are an amazing power source that is basically unlimited as it is powered by the sun.
11
Bad The only bad things about solar Panels is that if they get too hot the circuits could fry and they are no use if you never have any sunshine and it is also raining as you will gain no power and you will slowly start to lose power because you will be using light’s TV, washing machine, oven etc... 3) Saudi Arabia: Solar

2) UK: Solar Good There is a fair amount of sunshine in the UK so the solar panels would be a fairly good idea as the power can store at night and still be collecting power in the day, I think that this would be a great idea because solar plants are an amazing power source that is basically unlimited as it is powered by the sun. Yet again they would be creating more jobs.
