The rules of regular and irregular Plural Nouns
The following are rules we will go through, discuss and practice

To make most nouns plural, just add s
Hand hands Rabbit rabbits Key keys Clock clocks Football footballs Door doors Room rooms Dog dogs Light lights Television televisions Computer computers

For nouns ending is s, x, z, ch or sh add -es
PLURAL Box Boxes Pitch Pitches Wish Wishes Boss Bosses Buzz Buzzes Glass Glasses SINGULAR

for nouns that end in o, add -es
Singular Noun Plural Noun Potato potatoes Tomato tomatoes Hero heroes Echo echoes Bango banjoes The plural of many words ending in o can be spelled with -s or –es.

However, for some words ending in o, just add -s

However, some words ending in f, just add -s to make it plural

Some nouns that end in -ife, change the f to v and then add -s

For common nouns that end with a consonant+y, change the y to an I and then add -es
