What do we mean by pillars?
A pillar is something which supports a building, and stops it falling down. What do you think the Pillars of Islam are? The 5 Pillars of Islam are 5 things which a Muslim would do to show they were committed to the religion of Islam

The Five Pillars of Islam
Islam has five basic duties which Muslims must perform. These are called the five pillars of Islam. What duties do Christians have?

Role-play: In pairs I want you to create a role-play about one of the five pillars. You will be given an information sheet with the different scenarios to choose from. You only have 3 minutes to prepare. Good luck!!
