David Roth | Evansdale Library, West Virginia University 3/24 Basic structure of the lessons Each of the lessons in this instructional project is designed as a Microsoft PowerPoint self-paced tutorial The lessons live on our online library intranet and run optimally on the two training computers behind the Service Desk on the main floor; a staff person will help get you started In PowerPoint, each screen of information is called a “slide” To move forward to the next slide, simply place your cursor anywhere on the slide and left-click your mouse button Please left-click now to move forward one slide

David Roth | Evansdale Library, West Virginia University 5/24 Go to Full-Screen interface mode If it is not full screen, right- click your mouse anywhere on the slide This will launch a small pop-up menu window Select “Full Screen” with your cursor and left-click on it Full Screen mode is the preferred mode because it displays all the action elements built into the slides
