WWI was known as the First World War ever and it was known as the Great War also the War to end all Wars.

WWI was a global military conflict which included the Entente powers, as well as the Central Powers. over 15 million people were killed, that makes WWI one of the deadliest conflicts in history.

What Caused WWI On June 28, 1914 Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria- Hungary was assassinated which caused WWI. Austria –Hungary resulting demands against the kingdom of Serbia led to the starting of WWI

As a consequence of the global empires of many European Nations, the war soon spread worldwide.

At the end of WWI four major imperial powers – Germany, Russia, Austria- Hungary, and the Ottoman Empire, had been militarily and politically defeated.

The revolutionized Soviet Union, also known as Russia, emerged from the Russian Empire, while the map of Central Europe was completely redrawn into a lot of states that were smaller.
