2 Why is it important to build Self-Esteem? Self-Esteem refers to how you feel about yourself. It is largely influenced by what you think certain others think about you. Accept that it is normal to have disappointments in life and don’t take it out on the child. Give your child responsibilities. Always show affection to your child.
