18
Real-Time Posting ScanIt Parts immediately Posts the Part to your DMS and updates your Inventory. The part is now ready for Delivery, Stock or Internal use. Before parts could sit in the receiving area for hours before they were entered into the system ready for dispersal.
19
Real-Time Posting Reduce Time & Costs – Data Entry time reduced by over 85%. Improve Accuracy and Efficiency - No one has to sit down and manually post by hand into the DSP system. Hand Posting is very time consuming and has the potential for costly errors.
20
Bin Changes Scan in a bin location enter Part Number and the ScanIt Parts software will automatically update your DSP’s inventory. The ScanIt Parts system can produce a label that contains the dealer’s bin location. This eliminates having to look up the bin location for those parts that need the bin location for stocking. Improve Efficiency and Accuracy – You do not have to write down the information, go to a computer and enter it manually. As the part is scanned and the bin location is changed your DSP will automatically update in real- time.
21
Perpetual Inventory The ScanIt Parts system can be used to do a Perpetual Inventory (Bin Checks, Cycle Counts) including reports by discrepancy, full inventory and parts in wrong location. Improve Inventory Accuracy - Allows you to scan and count the parts and determine if your inventory in the bins is correct. The system matches the parts scanned versus your DSP’s inventory system.

ScanIt Parts Reports Improve accuracy –You can determine if any parts were shorted in your shipment. Rather than having to do the paperwork manually a report can be run to determine the part’s status. Improve efficiency - You can look up a part number and get all the order and shipping information. Saves time because you are not looking through paper packing slips. The system holds 18 months of history so you can do a history on a part number. Information - Certain facilities do not send paper packing slips anymore or the paper packing slip may get lost. The system has all the data about the packing slip making the paper packing slip optional.

ScanIt Parts Summary Parts scanned and automatically receipted into the your DSP system under the correct Order #. If there is a problem with an open order, the ScanIt Parts™ system will turn the scanner beam off and notify the user. If the part is on multiple open orders, the ScanIt Parts™ prompt the user for a control number.
36
ScanIt Parts Summary The ScanIt Parts™ system interfaces with your DMS system through an Ethernet network connection. ScanIt Parts™ system runs on a standard PC configuration. Many dealers access the data from different locations. Whether you are in the dealership or located elsewhere you can get to the data in many ways. Some of the ways might be through an internet connection, dialup modem or a LAN connection. The Access Point installed at the dealership connects to the central server using a standard Ethernet cabling and uses the TCP\IP protocol. Because this is a standard connection, many security techniques including a firewall can be used to protect the transfer within and outside a dealership. The ScanIt Parts™ system does not use any proprietary transmission methods.
37
ScanIt Parts Summary You should never be able to "overload" the ScanIt Parts™ system because of the scanners. ScanIt Parts™ system was designed from the start to handle very large inventories. We currently have several dealers with inventories that have thousands of open order lines at any one time. The ScanIt Parts™ system can support multiple scanner guns at one time. Some of the largest ScanIt Parts™ locations use anywhere from 3 to 6 scanner guns. Most dealerships run using 1 or 2 scanners.
38
ScanIt Parts Summary The scanner guns will communicate approximately 500ft radius from the Access Points. If multiple Access Points are added, the access points will automatically overlap coverage without any special setup.
39
30 Day Free Trial We will install a ScanIt Parts System at your dealership. Provide on-site with for you and your staff. Let you evaluate the system for 30 days with no obligation. At the end of 30 days you either pay for the system or return the equipment. 866-846-8049
