6 Non-religious views for believing in life after death
When someone about to die has a near death experience. See themselves floating above their bodies, bright lights, gates of heaven. Life After Death Ghosts Reincarnation NDEs Believed to be the dead trapped, who have unfinished business. Medium The belief that after death souls are reborn into a new body. Some people talk about remembering passed lives. Someone who can contact the dead.

7 What is a medium? A MEDIUM provides evidence of survival of the human personality beyond the physical state we call death. S/he is the link between the two worlds communicating with people who have died through mind-to-mind contact. Do you think mediums are real? If not why not?

8 NON- Religious views on the afterlife
Doppelgänger If no students have come up with their own example teacher can explain what a doppleganger is…someone who looks exactly like you and the idea that they are you. If you see your doppleganger face to face legend has it that you both will die. Gets students to be sceptical- could be twins separated at birth – blood brothers English cross over.

9 Christian beliefs and actions
‘I believe in the resurrection of the body and everlasting life’. ST PAUL If you do good actions you will go to heaven if you do bad actions you will go to hell. PARABLE: sheep and goats, The Good Samaritan. Jesus died for our sins so that we can go to heaven. Actions: Confession, Prayer, Doing good work, putting teachings into action, Thanksgiving, adoration. Some protestants believe there is no hell because God is Omnibenevolent and always forgives. Your soul goes onto the afterlife NOT your body.
