tortilla A thin round of unleavened cornmeal or wheat flour bread usually eaten hot with a topping or filling. It is used in English for a more restricted range of foods, mainly a potato-based omelet originating in Spain, and for a flatbread made from corn or wheat.

Taco Traditional Mexican dish made by corns or wheat tortilla rolled around a filling. A taco can be made with a variety of fillings, including beef, pork, chicken, seafood, vegetable and cheese. A taco often accompanied by garnish such as salsa, avocado or guacamole, cilantro, tomatoes, minced meat, onions and lettuce.
