Arctic (Inuit) Indians
Lived in present-day Alaska Fished and hunted for food Homes were made out of blocks of ice called igloos. Clothes were made from skin of seals, hides, and fur.

Northwest (Kwakiutl) Indians
Lived on the Pacific Northwest Coast. Fished, hunted, and gathered roots and berries for food. Homes were made out of timber called plank houses. Clothes were made from plant materials, hides, and fur.

Plateau (Nez Perce) Indians
- Lived in between the Rocky and Cascade Mountains Fished, hunted, and gathered roots and berries for food Homes were made from earth and plant materials for the season. Clothes were made from plant materials, hides, and fur. Winter House Summer House

Lived in the hot, dry desert in present-day Arizona. Farmed for food Homes were made from stones and mud called pueblos. Clothes were made from cotton they grew.

Lived in the Great Plains Hunted and farmed for food Homes were tepees made out of animal hides. Clothes were made from buffalo hides. Rocky Mountains

Lived in the warm, wet climate of Florida Farmed, hunted, fished, and gathered for food Homes used palmetto trees with open walls called chickees. Clothes were made from plant material and hides.
