CPCC Timesheet Training: Important to Know What is a workweek? Whatever 7 day period that is defined by the employer. At CPCC, Sunday through Saturday Overtime vs. Compensatory Time (Comp Time) Overtime: additional pay Comp Time: time banked for future use

CPCC Timesheet Training Comp Time How is comp time earned? After employee works more than 40 hours Earned at the rate of 1.5 hours for each hour worked above 40 Should be taken within 30 days after it is earned. May substitute for vacation or sick leave

CPCC Timesheet Training Coded Hours Coded hours are hours away from work Sick leave, vacation leave, jury duty, holiday, comp time, military Sick, vacation and bonus leaves cannot have negative balances Accruals are earned at the end of the month and cannot be taken until the following month or later

To Save or Not to Save? Do you want to save the timesheet to your computer? Before you fill-in the information… If yes, then save it to your computer under a new name when the option box appears asking if you want to open or save the document. If no, then select to open the document.

Complete your Demographic Information… Enter your Employee ID which is now available by clicking on the link on the timesheet, on the HR website or your pay stub. For privacy reasons do not use your Social Security number
