Bible Course Q & A Proverbs 26:4-5 “Don’t answer the foolish arguments of fools, or you will become as foolish as they are” “Be sure to answer the foolish arguments of fools, or they will become wise in their own estimation” What does this mean?

Bible Course Q & A Daniel 10:12-14 Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. 13 But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. 14 Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.” Seems to read as though a demonic power was able to block an angel from doing God’s will. Michael had to come to allow the angel to speak to Daniel, but the angel had to return later and take over again (vs 20). I just wondered why the angels struggled for weeks with it when we are told in Ephesians 6:11-12 to put on the armour of God because we are fighting them too. If God will trust us to fight them, why were the angels, including archangel Michael unable to be victorious, even after three weeks.

Bible Course Q & A Please could you explain why ministers of this church sometimes speak in tongues without translation present, to explain what is being said.

Bible Course Q & A What does the 144,000 mean in Revelation. Jehovah’s Witnesses always quote that specific number. I see there is more people than they quote – am I right.

Bible Course Q & A Can you explain if what is happening on the earth in the last 100 years and recently in Jerusalem and Syria is connected with the Bible and the Book of Revelation. Can we say that Jesus is coming very soon.

Bible Course Q & A John 6:53-56 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. Coming from a Catholic background, is the Eucharist based on the Bible, how did it originate.

Bible Course Q & A What about holy books of some of the Eastern religions. Where do they come from. Are they historically accurate.

Bible Course Q & A In week 7 one of the discussion questions was ‘what is the role of the Holy Spirit in making someone a true Christian’ – what do you mean by ‘a true Christian’
