BACKGROUND qGoal is network of high ease of use bicycle routes. +Bicycles are fast and convenient alternate to car commuting for moderate distances (less than 5 miles) in urban areas. +Cycling already popular in high ease of use, LSU, and Mid City areas for commuting and recreation. qMap publicizes existing network of streets and paths. qProjects address deficiencies (low ease of use) in existing streets network. qSign-marked routes (projects) link existing streets to facilitate longer distance destinations for casual and recreational riders.
