3. TITLE ONE PLAN: REFORM STRATEGY 1 Employ 3 intervention assistants to provide academic assistance in ELA and math to students.

4. TITLE ONE PLAN: REFORM STRATEGY 2 Provide instructional materials to support balanced literacy. Provide summer reading packs. Employ a.5 teacher as an interventionist. Provide materials for Leadership Notebooks. Provide professional development for teachers in writing.

5. Employ a Math Coach to model lessons, observe lessons, provide feedback, etc… Employ a.5 technology instructional Coach to conduct professional development for teachers and teach model lessons. Provide transportation for students to participate in 21 st Century After School Program. Provide professional development for implementation of Fast ForWord. Administer MAP assessment to 5K & 1 st grade students. Purchase a poster maker for school use. Employ a certified teacher to plan interventions for students in 21 st Century After School Program. 6. TITLE ONE PLAN: REFORM STRATEGY 4 All teachers at FPES are Highly Qualified.

7. TITLE ONE PLAN: REFORM STRATEGY 5 Provide professional development to support school wide initiatives in the following areas: Counselors attend SC Counselors Conference, Traits Writing, Leader in Me Symposium and SC Title One Conference. Work with 2 consultants to serve as coaches to strengthen instructional strategies and provide substitutes to allow for a short coaching session. Provide training through Franklin Covey for all staff in the 7 Habits and prepare for seeking status of Leader in Me Lighthouse School.

8. TITLE ONE PLAN: REFORM STRATEGY 6 Funds for this strategy are provided through the district.

9. TITLE ONE PLAN: REFORM STRATEGY 7 Parent workshops based information collected through the guidance survey. Literacy celebration at the end of the year. 5 th grade parent involvement celebration. Provide EveryDay Math study links and home links for parents. Provide parent-school communications folders, notebooks and agendas. Provide iMoms and All Pro Dads parent workshops each month. Provide supplies and materials for Parenting Center. Provide session in “Ten Ways to Make your Child Smarter” with Dr. Bone.

10. TITLE ONE PLAN: REFORM STRATEGY 8 Certified teacher conducts home visit of rising 5K students and uses materials from Count to Kindergarten program.

11. TITLE ONE PLAN: REFORM STRATEGY 9 Provide training in Decision Making for Results: Data Driven Decision Making.

12. TITLE ONE PLAN: REFORM STRATEGY 10 Provide instructional materials in ELA and Math to provide enrichment in order to provide differentiation and interventions in all grades. Integrate technology into classroom instruction with the use of technology supplies, materials and equipment. Provide instructional materials to support interventions for students in math and reading.

13. TITLE ONE PLAN: REFORM STRATEGY 11 Encourage excellent student behavior by participating in Positive Behavior Intervention and Support. Incentives will be instructional in nature.
