2 Hans Asperger published the first definition of Asperger’s in 1944 He defined it as “autistic psychopathy,” meaning “self” and “personality disease.” Hans Asperger died in Vienna on Tuesday 21st October 1980, at the age of 74.

3 Aspergers is neither a dominant or a recessive gene, the exact genes associated with Asperger’s is unknown so there’s no way to know if your child will have it or not.

4 Asperger’s has different symptoms for different ages, but people with Asperger’s usually stay to themselves and avoid social contact with other people. Some treatments for this syndrome is cognitive behavioral therapy and medications like Abilify and Intuniv.
