The average GPA to be admitted to FIU in the Fall is 3.4 – 4.0. The average SAT score for state universities is above 1100 – not including the Writing portion. The tuition for the University of Miami is approximately $35,000/year. Any Florida public university costs approximately $4,000/year.

Florida Academic Scholars Award (FAS) 100% Florida Medallion Scholars Award (FMS) 75% Florida Gold Seal Vocational (GSV) Award Amount Award amounts for the 2013-14 academic year will be available on the Bright Futures website in summer 2013, after the legislative session. In order to be eligible for an award students must have a completed FAFSA on file.
