10. Options: Mother Church Support Advantage Often covers most or all of the necessary funds. Disadvantage Does not create ownership by planter, presbytery or other potential partners.

11. Options: Partner Church Support Advantage Provides partial support and creates healthy missional connections between planters, mothers and partners. Disadvantage Is not a sufficient amount of money to fund the whole project.

12. Options: Planter Support Raising Advantage Creates ownership and taps resources that are not available otherwise. Disadvantage Planters vary greatly in their ability and networks for raising support.

13. Options: Presbytery Funds Advantage Enables planters to get a head-start on support raising. Disadvantage Many presbyteries do not have funds or a tradition of collecting funds.

14. Options: Foundation Grants Advantage Provides a one-time shot- in-the-arm for the support raising process. Disadvantage Grants are hard to find and not usually renewable.

15. Options: Bi-Vocational Planters Advantage Gives planters credibility and connection with those who live in the neighborhood. Disadvantage Diverts time and energy from the work of church planting itself.

16. Options: Working Wives Advantage Supplements income and gives a wife useful distraction from the burdens of planting. Disadvantage Time and energy of a working wife will not be available for the planter.
