Project Overview The OmniGlove is a home automation glove with a design focus towards the visually impaired. It is able to control home appliances such as lights and IR devices. The OmniGlove utilizes hand movements and gestures for intuitive home automation.

Design Challenges Flex Sensors – Conceptually great, actually terrible Wear over time Needs Calibration Easy to break Next time – potentiometers or accelerometers IR communication Best way to send from glove (has to stay put) Raspberry Pi hub Control lights Simple method was chosen over X10 or similar...
