1 Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome (SADS) By Ryan O’Keefe

2 Information Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome is common in people around the ages of 5 – 35. A heart condition such as this is hard to diagnose as there are sometimes very few to no prior symptoms ; most GP's and health professionals remain unaware of this 'SILENT KILLER'.

3 The Cause It is an inherited disease which creates an abnormality in the heart, causing it to speed up or slow down to the point where it can no longer pump blood around the body, in some cases, however, the heart will stop completely.

4 The Effects The effects of SADS is always death with over 12 deaths a week in young people in Australia alone.

5 The Symptoms There are almost no symptoms to this disease but it normally occurs when you have a previous heart condition.
