Character’s Name Point: State which character trait is displayed in the passage. Evidence: Quote or paraphrase Comment: Explain how the evidence showed you the Point. Tips: Use separate slides if a character has displayed different traits Use font sizes no smaller than 28. Always use contrasting colours for fonts and backgrounds. Keep the no. of words to a minimum.

Theme Point: State which theme is bein explored in the passage. (i.e. what the writer wants to tell his readers about the world) Evidence: Quote or paraphrase Comment: Explain how the evidence showed you the Point. Include personal response.

Literary Device Point: State the literary device being used (e.g. diction, metaphors, similes, personification, punctuation) Evidence: Quote or paraphrase Comment: Explain how the writer uses the literary device to deliver a key message or affect the reader. Include personal responses.
