What is a cell A cell is a block of life Functional unit of all living organisms

ER ER surrounds the nucleus ER Makes half of the membrane Ribosomes with RNA attach with the ER and produce proteins

Cytoskeletons Cytoskeletons functions springy skeletons Gives the cells shape Functions roads of transport cargo by motor proteins

Nucleus Protects the DNA’s Blueprint from interference Proteins work together to copy of DNA into RNA in a process called transcription

Mitochondria Generates the cells energy using sugar, oxygen and protein They have their own set of proteins enabling them to participate in activities

Plants and Animals Animals do not have chloroplasts. Plants do Animals have one or more vacuoles Plants have one central vacuoles which take up 90% of the cell
