Colossians 4:2–6 2 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. Acts 2:42 Devoted to prayer… 1 Thess. 5:17 Pray without ceasing… Does this kind of prayer characterize this church?

“How can I pray for you?” Followed by an awkward pause… 1.The person asking a stranger. 2.You are dead and/or with Jesus. 3.You have everything you desire. If #3 then your desires are too weak and you are not engaged in God’s mission.

Colossians 4:3-4 3 At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison— 4 that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.
