By the TEACHERS Sun, sun, Lots of fun, Rhymes with loads of stuff Like run and nun and megatron? And I guess also bun

 WHAT IS THIS?!?!

 No this is the sun

  The sun makes temperature  The sun causes rain and clouds  Without the sun we would die of cold, or of food shortage (our food needs heat and light from the sun to grow). Basic information

  It affects us in what we eat  It affects us in what we do  It affects our mood  It affects where we go  It affects us in how tired we become How does the sun affect us?

  It causes LOTS AND LOTS of different weathers  It provides exactly what we need (in weather) Why is the sun a main factor of weather????

  What/Where do you do/go when it is sunny and hot?  Why do you go there/do that?  What/Where do you do/go when it is cold and cloudy?  Why do you go there/do that? But I still don’t get what is so important about the Sun

  listen well because it is kind of complicated  the earth is on a tilt which means that when it is on one side of the sun, it is concentrated in one place. When it is on the other side, the rays are concentrated on another side. How is the sun connected to seasons?

 It is time for

 Drumroll please….

 THE QUIZ

 1. How would we die without the sun? (name two things) Cold and food shortage 2. Why is summer warm and winter cold? Because in Summer the rays of the sun are more concentrated 3. What weathers does the sun cause? (name 3 things) Sunny, rainy, cloudy 4. How is the sun connected to seasons? (clue: heat, cold) the suns rays are more concentrated when it is summer 5. Why? Because the earth is on a tilt so that sometimes the rays will be more spread out 6. How does the sun affect us? ( What we do, eat, our mood, where we go, and how tired we become

 About how many seconds does it take light to get from the sun to the earth? About 500 seconds. When the earth is closest to the sun it takes 490 seconds and when the earth is as faraway as possible from the sun it takes 507 seconds. Extension question
