The LORD is Here "The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation.“ (Exodus 34:6-7)

Wave offering (Thanksgiving)

The Lord is here "The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation.“ (Exodus 34:6-7) Vengeance is mine, says the Lord Deuteronomy 32:35

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. (Psalm 51:17) Silence Wickedness, rebellion and sin It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD (Lev 1:9)

"'Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favouritism to the great, but judge your neighbour fairly. (Leviticus 19:15) For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings. (Hosea 6:6) Stop bringing meaningless offerings! Stop doing wrong, learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow. (Isaiah 1:13,17)

Turning the tables - Prayers

Nearest and Dearest Those we follow In High position Weakest Myself Prayer Time

John 2 13 When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14 In the temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. 15 So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. 16 To those who sold doves he said, "Get these out of here! How dare you turn my Father's house into a market!“ Matthew 21 12 Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money-changers and the benches of those selling doves. 13 "It is written," he said to them, "'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers'." Setting aside a place and time for Prayer when we ask that God’s thoughts may be our thoughts

Prayers for this House of Prayer Heavenly Father we ask that when we meet here we would have the strength and courage to open our hearts to your Holy Spirit that we may become more like your Son, Jesus.

The Lord’s Prayer Our Father in heaven Hallowed be your name Your kingdom come Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven Give us today our daily bread Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours, now and for ever. Amen

Prayers for Justice Heavenly Father we ask for Justice in our country which is partial neither to the rich nor to the poor. Give us grace to encourage the oppressed to defend the cause of the fatherless to plead the cause of the widow to be merciful

From Amen to Action May God bless us with anger at injustice, oppression, and exploitation of people, so that we may work for justice, freedom, and peace. May God bless us with tears to shed for those who suffer from pain, rejection, hunger, and war, so that we may reach out our hands to comfort them and turn their pain into joy. And may God bless us with enough foolishness to believe that we can make a difference in this world, so that we can do what others claim cannot be done, to bring justice and kindness to all our children and the poor.
