STEP Who: You will be 15-19 years old When: 3+* Weeks during your Summer Hols Two way: Your family hosts your exchange partner in your home for 3+ weeks, then* you go to their home for the same time. Required: Your school will give you a good character reference Where to go: you choose! (normally Northern Hemisphere) Possibilities: – Almost any country you fancy – we know which are safe for you. – in the past young people from around here have exchanged with Canada, California, Spain, Holland, Brazil – Sarah Mason of Peterborough did a STEP to USA last summer….. Camps & Tours Usually 10-21 days away in the Summer holidays International Groups – only 1 or 2 young people from each country Focused on an interest, a hobby or a skill - eg. music, photography, sailing mountains Which Country you go to depends upon your focus – The Focus can be the country – Germany, Turkey or India – What’s your interest/hobby/skill – Which country do you fancy… – loads of details on the website but latest offers* include: India A Learning Adventure CampA Learning Adventure Camp Italy Cremona Music Camp – stringsCremona Music Camp USA San Diego Calif. New Generations A Gap Option? 18-25 age group 3 weeks to 3 months ‘normally' Individually planned : geographically / subject Focused on a work or study interest/vocation Countries depend upon focus NB This is an exchange and your family is encouraged to host in return for your being hosted, not necessarily at the same time Website: Youthexchange.org.uk

If you are successful We will let you have a detaled Application form 5. Timescale: Applications for STEP - must be in ideally by the end of December… earlier is best! Camps/Tours - ASAP after the Offer you like is published, there may be only one UK place New Generation – at least 3 months before you want to depart Rotary promises fast decisions, after interviews!
