CHP may conduct Inspections for PUC & DOT! California Public Utilities Commission (C-PUC) Public Utilities Code 1032.1 The State adopted the D.O.T. regulations. CHP may conduct Inspections for PUC ! Taxi Cab & Limo Operators California Government Code 53075.5 The State requires local City PD /Sheriff to adopt ordinances. Enforced by Local P.D. or retained agencies.
