1→2: Isentropic Compression 2→3: Reversible Constant Pressure Heat Addition 3→4: Isentropic Expansion 4→1: Reversible Constant Pressure Heat Rejection (Exhaust and Intake in the open cycle) Air is compressed, mixed with fuel, burned, and expelled through a turbine to perform work. Lab analysis includes the calculation of work and efficiency of the turbine and compressor as well as Carnot efficiency.
