1. How to find scholarly/peer-reviewed articles in EBSCO databases This tutorial will help you to find scholarly and peer-reviewed articles in our EBSCO databases. To begin, click on the green button.

2. From the library homepage, select “Databases.”

3. Select the first database title, “Academic Search Complete” from the list of databases. Academic Search Complete is one in the family of databases from the provider EBSCO and contains a wide variety of journals on many topics.

4. Searching for scholarly and/or peer-reviewed journals in Academic Search Premier is a fairly simple process. As a sample search, let’s type in the phrase “immigration reform.” Then, after scrolling down the search page, we’ll see the “Scholarly (Peer-reviewed) Journals” box. Select that box to retrieve only scholarly and /or peer-reviewed articles and hit the “Search” button.

5. Here on the Results page, the database has retrieved 618 scholarly and/or peer-reviewed articles on the topic, immigration reform. This process for finding scholarly or peer-reviewed journals will work in all of the EBSCO databases.
