Assistive Technology Assistive Technology is a term that is used to aid individuals with disabilities using adaptive services such as devices or technology. The law requires school systems to ensure that all individuals needs are met if additional services are required. Disabilities Act of 2004 Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)

A Speech- to- Text Converter allows the instructor to convert the spoken language into a written format so that lessons can be read by a hearing impaired student.

The Braille system is a code that is used to aid the visually impaired with reading. Braille is composed of raised dots that are read using fingers by individuals who have difficulty seeing.

Brain pop is an animated interactive website that allows individuals to view content standard videos and play games for all subjects to provide extra support for learning.

A computer mouth stick helps aid individuals who have difficulty using the computer due to physical challenges.
